bpas supports reproductive choice and health by advocating and providing high quality, affordable services to prevent unwanted pregnancies with contraception or end them by abortion.  They also offer a range of other reproductive health services including pregnancy testing, counselling, STI screening, contraception, sterilisation, vasectomy and vasectomy reversal.

NEWCASTLE TENANTS & RESIDENTS FEDERATION

Represents tenants and residents associations (TARAs) throughout Newcastle upon Tyne.  They are also one of the oldest Federations in the country, having been formed in 1977 and they focus on working with tenants and residents, to relieve deprivation and improve housing conditions and living environments across the city, so that they can play a full part in the decisions about their housing and environment.  They also offer support to individual tenants and residents associations and interest groups and bring groups together over issues of common concern.  Newcastle Tenants & Residents Federation have recently become a registered charity.

United Response believe that people with disabilities are equal participants in society and should have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.  They support people with learning disabilites, mental health needs and physical disabilities to take control of their lives.  From assisting people to live as independently as possible in their own homes to helping them access their community, get training and seek work opportunities.  They also campaign with, and on behalf of, the people they support on the issues that affect their lives.
