	NEWCASTLE TENANTS & RESIDENTS FEDERATION Tel:0191 232 1371 Represents tenants and residents associations (TARAs) throughout Newcastle upon Tyne. They are also one of the oldest Federations in the country, having been formed in 1977 and they focus on working with tenants and residents, to relieve deprivation and improve housing conditions and living environments across the city, so that they can play a full part in the decisions about their housing and environment. They also offer support to individual tenants and residents associations and interest groups and bring groups together over issues of common concern. Newcastle Tenants & Residents Federation have recently become a registered charity.

They support people with learning disabilites, mental health needs and physical disabilities to take control of their lives.
